This building is the current Main or Admin Office. It was one of two homes on the property when school founders bought it from Nat and Louise Franklin in 1973. Nat and his family came to Atlanta in 1907 from Russia. They were grocers and merchants. Nat ran a prominent grocery store chain in Atlanta called Franklin Super Markets. In 1953, they bought the property in what was then rural Roswell, as a getaway home and farm. Nat and Louise and their children lived in this house and his parents and guests lived in the smaller stone cottage that is now the camp office. When the founders purchased the property, Franklin House was home to two preschool classrooms for many years and in 1999 became the library when more space and outlets were needed than the Caboose could offer. In 2011, the library was moved to its current location, and the space was renovated as the main administrative offices.
